A man aged 86 and a woman aged 70 have died of coronavirus taking The Gambia’s death toll to 105. 

The deceased persons were reported to have been admitted to hospital for coronavirus but they died before the release of their test results.

There is a decrease in the coronavirus fatalities this moment compared to the last two months when the death toll was double digits. 

The Ministry of Health also announced that “23 new cases are registered taking the total number of COVID-19 cases ever confirmed in the country to 3,428. 

“This represents a 10.7% test positivity rate (23 out of 214 total tests performed).”
