Gambian footballer Alieu Jammeh has joined Peyia 2014 FC in the Cyprus Second Division League on a one year loan deal.

Falcons football club said:” We are delighted to announce that our No. 10 Alieu Jammeh has joined Peyia 2014 FC in the Cyprus 2nd Division League on a one year loan deal.

“Falcons and Peyia 2014 FC agreed a season-long loan deal for the 18-year-old winger after impressing the Cypriot club on trials.

“In Alieu Peyia has recruited one of the Gambia’s finest young talents and brings with him a lot of attacking flare to the side.

“The speedster who can operate on either flanks or through the middle combines both intelligence and skills. A good dribbler with and eye for goal.”

Alieu joined Falcons as a teenager rising to become one of the integral players helping the Blue Army to a 2nd place finish in the last Gambian 1st Division League.
