Colourful artist 6ix 9ine has launched a scathing attack on fellow artist Dog Father, calling him “a so-called young rapper”.
6ix 9ine said he doesn’t like people promoting Dog Father as the biggest rapper in the country and called on them to stop doing so.
“I don’t have a beef with Dog Father, but the only problem I have in the music industry is that they help so-called talented artists like Dog Father, who released an album that couldn’t get the hype it needed,” he said.
“I don’t like how they are promoting Dog Father. He is not a rapper and he cannot be the best rapper in The Gambia. It’s clear that Dog Father is trying to ridicule what I sing in Fula and that’s what I dislike. He must stop and focus on his [own work],” he added.
Meanwhile, he also claimed that he is a king in the Gambia’s music industry and described other artists as his subjects.
He continued: “some artists claim they are the king of the music industry, but they are all lying. I am the chief of the industry. So, I am their chief. To all those claiming to be G.O.A.T of the music industry, I am your chief.”
