Physically you are gone but spiritually you will always be with us Uncle Sheikh Joof. 

Your sincerity and humility will continue to paint unforgettable pictures in our minds. You have made your tomb in your hearts and nothing will take that away. 

Life is indeed a journey, goom naa koo, we are all passing time and shall surely go one day koon naa refet as many elders remind us. 

You were a shining example to many and promoted community cohesion, the mediation role you played cemented lots of relationships, your counselling skills was a life line  to many who crossed paths with you.

The educationist and school principal Uncle Alh. Sheikh Adam Joof formerly of Muslim High School is gone. 

Baiyee nyeppa, the real gentleman and principal who spoke smoothly and inculcated good manners on many has left a vacuum.

Sheikh Adam Joof, the twin of Ya Awa Joof originally from Joofen 1 Blance Street will be missed not only by those he taught but the whole Muslim Ummah.  C Joof as he was commonly known was a member of the Banjul muslim elders and a community person of high standing.
