President Adama Barrow leads opposition parties in the latest opinion poll of voters of the candidate likely to win the December presidential election.

The poll conducted by the Centre for Policy Research and Strategic Studies (CePRASS) showed Barrow’s NPP in the lead with 29% and closely followed by Ousainou Darboe of the UDP with 13%. 

“There is still a large pool of undecided voters (40%), but the incumbent’s party, NPP, leads the polls on intention to vote among the 60% decided voters, followed by UDP, APRC, and GDC,” CePRASS said. 

Mai Fatty’s GMC was the least favoured party polling -1% among voters. 

According to CePRASS, 95% of the respondents are registered voters and willing to vote in the December presidential election.

But the poll has been rejected by some members of the opposition parties who branded it as “lacking in credibility and reasoning”.
