A raging blaze has swept through The Gambia Transport Services Corporation (GTSC) depot in Kanifing, destroying dozens of buses.

The cause of the fire remains unknown.

Fire rescue officers rushed to the scene to help contain the blaze. Million of dalasis are projected to have been lost in the blaze.

Authorities have launched investigation into the unfortunate incident, which has raised concerns about its impact on transportation services for hundreds of people in the coming days and months.
