The Gambian Police are searching for two Sierra Leonian men in connection with the death of a 63-year-old Gambian retired banker.

Reuben Andrews was found dead, bound with a rope, in his bedroom at his Brufut Heights home on Monday night.

Police preliminary investigations suggests that he was killed. His laptops, phones, and cash amounting to $7,000, £2,000, and between D9,000–D10,000 are missing.

“A ladder and a cutlass were recovered at the scene. Upon close scrutiny, a footage confirmed the presence of the watchman and maid earlier that day. The duo are currently at large and believed to be on the run. Facts further established that both are Sierra Leonean nationals,” police said.
