The Gambia U-15 girls endured a challenging start to their CAF Pan African School Football Championship campaign, conceding three second-half goals to go down 3-0 against Uganda at the University of Cape Coast Stadium.

After a tightly contested first half both sides went into the break level. However, Uganda broke the deadlock just after the interval and added two more strikes before the final whistle, leaving the young Scorpions searching for answers.

Gambia now turn their focus to a showdown with South Africa at 2 p.m. local time, hoping to bounce back and keep their tournament hopes alive.
