Police have launched an investigation into the alleged murder of Maimuna Jallow, who was heavily pregnant, in Bansang.
She was reportedly assaulted by her husband and was pronounced dead at the Bansang Hospital, where she was rushed for medical attention.
“Upon receiving the information, police intervened to halt burial preparations in order to investigate the allegations,” police said.
