The alleged killers of a man in Sanyang Bunkiling are reported to have been arrested as violent protest continue.

A resident told Gambiana that the deceased identified as Gibril Cessay was allegedly stabbed to death in his home while he was with his European wife.

An angry mob of youths have taken to the streets to protest the killing. The town’s police station has been set ablaze by the angry mob. 

They are pointing accusing fingers at some Senegalese fishermen working at the Chinese Nissim fishmeal factory in Sanyang of being involved in the killing. 

The youths are now demanding that the Senegalese fishermen renting around Bunkiling to leave the town immediately.
