APRC’s mobiliser general Yankuba Colley
has lashed out at the party’s breakaway group, describing them as a “powerless group who cannot solve anything”.
Mr Colley, also former mayor of Kanifing Municipality, described the group’s spokesman Jerending Sanyang as “someone who thinks mobilising people is on putting on suits”.
According to him, the group will soon lose their power base in Foni, adding they keep “misleading” the people.
“Their power stops in Foni. They cannot solve any problem and even the people of Foni will soon abandon them because they are misleading those people. I don’t want to talk about them because if I do, I will give them relevance,” he said.
APRC has since been shattered into two groups after exiled former President Yahya Jammeh fired Tombong Jatta-led executive for endorsing President Adama Barrow’s re-election.
