The Petroleum Boys Fortune Football Club continue their remarkable run on form by triumphing 2-0 over Banjul United Football Club to widen the gap to four points in the table standings of the pinnacle of Gambian football.  

The city boys succumb to Fortune FC high intensive pressing that forces Alpha Omar Jallow to redirect Salifu Colley’s teasing cross into his net under pressure in the 20th minute of the thrilling encounter.  

Fortune FC summer acquisition and former Gambia U-20 star, Salifu Colley, put the match beyond the reach of Banjul United in the 87th minute of the showdown with a breathtaking belter to give his side a 2-0 cruising. Fortune FC hung on to the commanding 2-0 lead to record a 5 straight win in the Gambian top tier.  

Banjul United are currently the worst team in the top flight both in the league table ranking and in current form. The City boys have inexplicable experienced losses in all five matches they played this season so far thus occupying the bottom-of-the-table standings.
