The Gambia have been placed in the same group as Senegal, Somalia, and Tunisia for the CAF U-17 African Cup of Nations, set to take place in Morocco from March 30 to April 19, 2025.

In a recent encounter during the WAFU A U-17 qualifiers, Senegal claimed victory with a solid 3-1 win over The Gambia.

However, the stage is now set for redemption. Fans can expect an intense showdown as the Baby Scorpions look to avenge their earlier defeat against Senegal in Group C of this prestigious tournament.

This year’s expanded tournament will feature 16 teams battling it out from March 30 to April 19, 2025, with an exciting twist: a record 10 African nations will earn a spot in the 48-team 2025 FIFA Under-17 World Cup, taking place in Qatar from November 5-27, 2025.
