The anticipation is building as Gambia’s home-based Scorpions prepare for a thrilling showdown against Gabon in the highly awaited second stage of the CAF African Nations Championship qualifiers. 

This match is more than just a game; it’s a gateway to facing off against none other than the 2023 silver medalists, Algeria, for a coveted spot at the tournament in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. 

The first leg of this crucial encounter is set to take place between February 28th and March 2nd, while the return leg will follow from March 7th to 9th. 

As the countdown begins, the Gambia CHAN team is in full swing at the National Technical Training Centre in Yundum, vigorously honing their skills under the expert guidance of coach Alagie Sarr and his dedicated technical team.
