
Gambia Ports Authority FC continued their impressive start to the Gambia Football Federation Division One League with a comfortable 2–0 victory over Falcons FC, extending their stay at the top of the table with 13 points from a possible 15.
Mamadi Chorr opened the scoring early for the Ferry Boys, finding the net in the 12th minute to set the tone.
Falcons held on for long spells, but Ansumana Juwara sealed the win in the 84th minute, ensuring there was no route back for the visitors.
The defeat leaves Falcons FC rooted in the lower end of the standings with just two points so far this season.
In other results, TMT FC claimed a vital away win, edging BST Galaxy FC 1–0. Yahya Ndong emerged as the hero, scoring a late winner in the 87th minute to secure all three points for his side.
There was also late drama in the encounter involving Bombada FC. Substitute Pa Yusupha Jammeh made an instant impact, scoring with a powerful and precise strike just seconds after coming on in the 89th minute, momentarily silencing the home supporters.
However, Bombada FC salvaged a point in stoppage time through defender Abdoulie Camara, whose last-gasp equaliser ensured the match ended 1–1.
