A coronavirus patient aged 48 has absconded from a treatment centre, the Ministry of Health has announced.

The man from Bakoteh absconded from one of the treatment centres. 

Meanwhile the ministry has given update on the country’s coronavirus cases. It said that 218 new laboratory test results were received from NPHL, 10 were inconclusive and 7 new Covid-19 patients were discharged within the last 48hrs. 

The country currently has 46 people in quarantine, 1,253 active cases and a crude case-fatality ratio of 3.2%.
