Gambia striker Muhammed Badamosi has returned to the Scorpions squad for their two-legged Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar.
Badamosi is one of the big name players to be included in coach Jonathan McKinstry’s squad.
The 25-year-old striker missed out the Scorpion last matches as he completed his transfer paperwork from the Saudi club to Standard Liege in the Belgian pro league.
Coach McKinstry said despite the team showing exceptional performance in their past matches, they still need more creativity in scoring goals and avoiding conceding through set pieces.
“For me as a coach I enjoyed watching the guys play, which tells me what we are doing in the training is quite good. But we need to be clinical around the penalty box. There is no doubt that we are creating a lot of chances but we have to convert the chances,” he said.
