Musa Barrow ended a nine-match goal drought in the Saudi Pro League on Monday night, scoring a vital penalty to inspire Al-Taawoun to a 3-2 comeback victory over Al-Riyadh in their final home match of the season.
The Gambian international calmly slotted home from the spot to spark Al-Taawoun’s fightback after they had fallen behind. The goal marked Barrow’s 13th of the season, to go along with two assists in 32 league appearances.
Barrow’s contribution proved pivotal as the hosts rallied with two more goals to complete the turnaround and secure all three points. The result boosts Al-Taawoun’s push for a strong finish to the campaign.
