Gambian footballer Musa Barrow has been voted as Bologna fans’ player of the year for 2020.  

After the club ran a poll featuring the prolific Gambian striker and three other standout Bologna players, Barrow was the overwhelming choice with 63% of the votes. 

On the club’s official Twitter account, they wrote:

“The poll is over, the votes have been counted and verified, and we can now reveal that our POTY for 2020 is magical Musa. 

“13 goals and 6 assists since signing for the Rossoblù in January!

The 21-year-old Gambian footballer joined Bologna in January 2020 for more that $22 million, a deal that has allowed him to enjoy more playing time and to fully flourish.

“Keep pushing, Musa!”
