Musa Barrow shone for The Gambia as he scored the only goal in their hard-fought match against Madagascar, securing a vital three points in their qualifying campaign.

Despite missing an earlier penalty in the first half, Barrow remained a constant threat, showcasing his pace and skill.

The decisive moment came in the 62th minute when Barrow volleyed home from close range after a precise assist from Yankuba Minteh. 

The Scorpions displayed solid defensive organization throughout the match, frustrating Madagascar’s attempts to find an equalizer.

This victory places The Gambia in a stronger position in the standings, bolstering their hopes for advancement in the tournament.
