The reason you are angry about this nation is because you follow too many bitter and angry people online. Everywhere you turn to Adama Barrow this, UDP this, NPP that, Ismaila Ceesay this etc.

When a foreigner asks you about your country, you are eager to dress down the country- You say, “The Gambia is a useless country belie, dafa useless”. You end up shaping their perception about the country and more Africans.

Even when there’s something positive being reported about the country, you go on that timeline and rubbish it. When foreign media speaks of Africa they speak of it as trash, yet when you as an African wants to speak of your country, you still speak of it as trash. I used to be like that 5years ago until I had a mind shift from sir Olajide Abiola space

It would take you time to realise that the USA is facing its own turmoil, the UK has terrible headaches and so do other countries (shootings, thefts, killings the lost is endless) but their media prioritise more positive news and highlights the good above the bad.

With how useless the country is, more foreigners arrive every year building businesses and making positive investments. Yet all you see is a Useless nation. Well, those who see more  and believe in the nation will benefit from it.

PLEASE RUN TO “The better place” WE WILL BE HERE!

There’s enough negative and bad news proliferating the entire media space about the country, so on my personal space, I don’t join that bandwagon.

All I see are the positive things going on in The Gambia; in the past week alone, I saw Barack Obama praising our own Fatou Baldeh, I saw Jaha Dukureh giving a speech at the UN, I saw TVET Gambia new set of investment in entrepreneurs, I saw Mustapha Njie – TAF, celebrating 35years of successful real estate innovations with his company TAF Africa Global, I saw Gaye Njorro Skills Academy signing more MoUs to train more people and lift young women away from the streets in their numbers, I saw ground breaking technological advancement in medicine and healthcare being shared by Ismail Badjie(pharm.D).

The Gambia is not perfect and it has its dark sides, but that’s not what I want to ever join the crowd to project . On my space, we do positives only!

My question to you this week is- WHAT DO YOU SEE?
