Police have announced the arrest of a suspected lunatic man for allegedly killing two minors in Kiang Jiffarong.

“The Gambia Police Force can confirm that today 29th January 2023, two underages are allegedly killed by a suspected lunatic in two different compounds of Kiang Jiffarong, LRR. The alleged victims, male and female, are both under 6 years of age,” police said. 

“The suspected adult lunatic, who ran away into the bush after the alleged incident, is apprehended and currently helping the police with further investigation. 

“A police team of investigators has been on the ground to gather more information,”police added.
