Police have arrested three suspects and recovered stolen items that were taken from a house in Sukuta.

The items include a 70-inch flatscreen TV, carpets, curtains, electrical stabiliser, bedsheets, electrical gas cooker, and a sound speaker.

“Three suspects have been arrested by Investigators at Sukuta Police Station after they broke into the apartment of a Gambian residing in the USA,” police said. 

Police also urged young people to direct youthful energy into the productive sectors and desist from crime.

The thieves are now charged and awaiting court actions.
