
Police in Tujereng have launched an investigation into a suspected murder following the discovery of a man’s body in Tanji Solifo on Sunday.
The victim, identified as 22-year-old Lamin Jallow from Tanji Nema, was found with what appeared to be a stab wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers responded swiftly, cordoning off the area and working alongside crime scene investigators and medical personnel.
The body has been transferred to the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
No arrests have been made, and police say inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
