Police are calling on the public to share information with them as they opened investigation into the alleged kidnapping of Kemeseng Sanneh commonly known as Kexx Sanneh. 

Mr Sanneh was reported missing last Wednesday sparking concern among his family and friends.

“The Police High Command has received disturbing reports about the alleged kidnapping of Kemeseng Sanneh commonly known as Kexx Sanneh on 24th March 2021.

“The public is assured that, a thorough investigation will be conducted and will do its utmost to get to the bottom of the matter,” Police said in a statement.

Kexx, who regularly livestream the National Assembly sittings, described his frightening encounter with his alleged kidnappers. 

He said he was taken away by men covered in black on Wednesday night around his house in Latrikunda German after his report about the demarcation of constituencies. 

He said he lost consciousness after his kidnappers placed a wet piece of cloth over his nose. He was later dumped at a cemetery.
