President Adama Barrow has arrived in Abuja, Nigeria, to participate in the 68th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Heads of State and Government, scheduled for 14 December 2025.

The Gambian leader was received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport with a guard of honour and a warm welcome. He was greeted by Dr Salihu Aminu Usman, Permanent Secretary at Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, alongside The Gambia’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, Muhammed Papa Njie.
