A huge crowd accompanying President Adama Barrow today gathered at State House to drum and dance as he begins a nationwide tour.
The president will spend the next 30 days touring the country, but he will take a break on Christmas Day.
“The Head of State will dialogue with the people and assess the impact of the policies and programmes of his government on their lives,” State House said in a statement.
President Barrow is being accompanied by a high-powered delegation of government officials and supporters.
The Vice President Dr. Isatou Touray bid farewell to the president and his delegation at the Banjul ferry terminal.
