The defending champions Real De Banjul overcame a resilient Team Rhino United Football Club in a tense 1-0 win played at the Late Ousman Saho Memorial Field at Yundum.  

The marauding Sheikh Jaw threaded an eye-catching true pass for Pa Abdou Cham to find the back of the net just before the halftime break. Pa Abdou Cham’s winner takes Real De Banjul to back-to-back victories for the first time this season.  

The inform Pa Abdou Cham scored three goals and provided a further two assists in the league but he is not happy with the current position of the defending champions in the league table. 

“Alhamdulillah I am so excited, especially for my teammates and coaches. They have helped a lot and I am so grateful to score the only goal that gave us the victory today.

“We have some setbacks, drawing three games in a row. Where we are is not our place but we will try to be at the top In Sha Allah,” Pa Abdou promised.
