Defending champions Real De Banjul began their Gambia Football Federation Division One campaign in emphatic fashion with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Greater Tomorrow FC.

Sidiki Jawara opened the scoring in the 30th minute after Greater Tomorrow failed to clear their lines from a set piece.

Mustapha Badjie doubled the advantage with a close-range tap-in after reacting quickest inside the box, before Assan Gibba sealed the win with a superb solo effort, driving forward, cutting inside his marker and curling a left-footed strike into the top corner.

In other Division One fixtures, Harts FC claimed a 2-0 away victory over Falcons FC in Jarra Soma, while TMT FC showed resilience to come from behind and hold Team Rhino FC to a 1-1 draw at the Goal Project.
