The Gambia will be the guest of honour at the Africa-UAE Economic Forum, taking place in Dubai on 18 December 2025.
The event, organised by FOGECA under President Amadou Diagne, brings together African and Emirati leaders, investors, and business figures to explore opportunities for economic cooperation.
With the high patronage of several African Heads of State and the Emir of Dubai, the forum will focus on strengthening trade links, showcasing investment projects, fostering strategic partnerships, and promoting sustainable development initiatives.
A highlight of the event will be the Africa-UAE Integration Gala on 19 December at the Conrad Hilton Dubai Hotel.
The evening will celebrate Africa-UAE collaboration with performances from Congolese star Koffi Olomide and Malian musicians Bassekou Kouyate and Amy Sacko.
President Adama Barrow will be awarded the African Economic Integration Prize during the forum, recognising The Gambia’s growing role in fostering economic cooperation across the continent.
