A 25-year-old woman has allegedly taken her life in Basse Sotuma Samba. 

The remains of the Kaddijatou Mballow has been transported to the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital (EFSTH) for postmortem.

When contacted, the Police spokesman ASP Modou Musa Sisawo told Gambianathat police have launched an investigation into the suicide incident.

Gambiana has also received information that the husband of the deceased is currently helping the police in their investigation, pending the outcome of the postmortem result.
