Twenty-five Gambians from Mauritania were taken into quarantine after one of them tested positive for coronavirus.

The group mandatory isolation comes as the nation’s coronavirus numbers are spiking up again as the state relaxed its coronavirus restrictions.

The country currently has 25 people in quarantine and 31 active cases, the Ministry of Health said.
