A good number of new coronavirus cases are asymptomatic and self-isolating patients at home, the Ministry of Health says.
The Health ministry says on Saturday that 98 people were tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases known to date to 2,895.
“The bulk of the active cases are asymptomatic and are as such self-isolating at home pending the manifestation of symptoms,” the Health ministry said in its situational report.
The latest confirmed cases represent a 27.5% test positivity rate and the median age of the new cases is 33.5 years.
