The two appointed government ministers and the Secretary General and Head of Civil Service will on Thursday be sworn in, the Office of the President has announced in a press release.
These include, Shiekh Omar Faye, new Defence minister, Yankuba Sonko, new Interior minister, and Cherno Barry new Secretary General, three Permanent Secretaries and the Executive Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission.
Meanwhile, the President Adama Barrow will on the same day chair an special session of the cabinet to discuss the government White Paper on the Janneh Commission report into financial improprieties by the former president Yahya Jammeh and his associates.
It could be recalled that last month, President Barrow in a cabinet reshuffle sacked his interior minister Ebrima Mballow and the Secretary General of the Civil Service and appoints the first Defence minister of his administration.
