The Gambia’s coronavirus deaths has risen to 84 as three more people have been confirmed to have died of the virus on Friday.

The victims are said to be two men and one woman whose test results were collected posthumously.

The Ministry of Health said the ages of the latest deaths range from 20 to 52. 

At least 2,437 coronavirus cases have been registered since the virus emerged in the country in March 2020.

There was a decline in number of cases on Friday as only 36 new coronavirus cases were registered.
