Two police stations have been opened in North Bank Region to strengthen security in the area.

The region has faced a rise in criminal activities – one of which involved a violent robbery at a mini-market in Essau in 2017 that left a guard seriously injured.

The new stations in Madina Serign Mass , Lower Niumi district and Kuntair, Jokadu district will help to dwindle criminal activities especially thefts and robberies.

The police said the projects were  community driven initiatives. 

The beneficiary community members have hailed the developments and express gratitude to the Police Management for its drive to make security accessible to all.
