A 25-year-old man has tested positive for coronavirus following a large scale test conducted by the Ministry of Health which showed at least 106 people tested negative for the virus.

“One new case registered, taking the total number of COVID-19 cases ever confirmed in the country to 3,660. This represents a 1.0% test positivity rate (1 out of 106 total tests performed),” the Ministry of Health said.

“The new COVID-19 case is a 25 – year – old male. 106 new laboratory test results received from NPHL No new test returned indeterminant / inconclusive.

“No new patient recovered within the last 24 hours whereas no new person has been taken into quarantine, no new person was discharged either. The country currently has 4 people in quarantine, 881 active cases ⃰and a crude case-fatality ratio of 3.3%.”
