Police on Tuesday arrest two suspected burglars at a vehicle checkpoint in Brikama. 

“Karim Jallow and Sanna Dibba of Farato were intercepted at the check point after a search was conducted on the van carrying them and items such as tins of sardine, milk, mayonnaise among others were found in their possession,” the police said.

Police say their preliminary investigations revealed that the duo broke into a shop at Serrekundanding where the items were stolen. 

They are currently helping police in their investigations.
