Hundreds of people are gathering in Nga’n Sanjal in North Bank Region as the National National Reconciliation holds its biannual congress.

Elswhere in Farafeeni, Gambia Democratic Congress is holding its congress where scores of its supporters have converged at a conference centre.  

Meanwhile the oldest opposition party, People’s Democratic Organisation for Independent and Socialism (PDOIS) began its congress on Friday with a caravan tour in Serrekunda.
