The Gambia has recorded 376 new coronavirus cases and four deaths as the country battles a third wave of the pandemic.
The new cases were recorded between July 22 to 25.
The four new Covid-19 related deaths include three men and one woman with ages ranging from 42-60 years.
According to health officials all the victims manifested severe covid pneumonia and died while on admission at the Covid-19 treatment centres.
Twenty-seven new Covid-19 patients were newly discharged from treatment centres, while 368 got discharged at least 10 days from the day they tested positive but evaded institutional isolation.
Twenty-four Covid-19 patients are currently on oxygen therapy. No new contacts were traced and monitored.
Ten people are in hotel quarantine and four air travellers tested positive for both RDT and PCR. They were all treated and discharged.
More than 7000 coronavirus cases have been recorded with 216 deaths since the virus emerged in the country in 2020.
