The leader of United Democratic Party, lawyer Ousainou Darboe has asked Gambians to vote him into the presidency for the benefit of their future.

Speaking to thousands of UDP supporters at a rally in Sukuta, Darboe promised a landslide victory on December 4 presidential election.

 “You [Gambians] should decide on the betterment of their future and vote me in on December 4th. Come out in your numbers…you don’t even need to check the pictures on the ballot boxes because on 5th of December will be a victory celebration,” he said.

He described UDP as a party that is free of tribalism and respects all tribes in the Gambia.

“I will not lead a government that will be distressing people,” he added.
