The donation was made after a need assessment trip to the country’s only psychiatric hospital led by the organisation’s chairman Omar Kolley.

The organisation funded the purchase and installation of the industrial washing machine in the hospital at a cost of D92,000.

Mr Kolley said the organisation was happy to provide help to vulnerable members of the community and hope the machine will benefit the hospital.

“I’d like to thank my colleagues for the support in making such a project of this magnitude to our own vulnerable people possible. This is a vital institution that really needs our help.”

“We should be proud of ourselves for embarking on this worthy initiative,” Mr Kolley added.
