Fabakary Tombong Jatta has told a rally in Old Yundum that Yahya Jammeh and the APRC are still mentioned in the country because of the work he and his sacked executive had done. 

He told the breakaway group of APRC that none of them loves Jammeh more than him and his team, adding that Jammeh was aware of their coalition talks with President Barrow’s NPP party.

“I want to clear something about the breakaway group and APRC. What’s happening today, apart from God, its me and my executive who took APRC to where it’s today if not Yahya Jammeh’s name will not be said in this country today and APRC name will not be said in this country,” he said.

“Those talking today were nowhere to be found and none of the No-to-Alliance movement members love and like Jammeh more than us.  And today the talks are too much and all these talks going on today Yahya Jammeh was aware of it. If he disagreed with us let him call us but he didn’t do that,” he added.

“I am from Nuimi and I have a joking relationship with my Foni people and when it was hard yesterday, they approach me and they were not even talking about the Jammeh issue,” he said.
