President Adama Barrow has casted his vote alongside his wives and called on the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) to ensure “the conduct of a free, fair, transparent, and credible election”.
Barrow was upbeat about winning despite being challenged in a hotly contested presidential election by five prominent opposition leaders.
He is seeking a second term in office. His opposition however said he is not up to the job pointing to the rising cost of living and youth unemployment.
