Sainabou Mbye will appear in Bundung high court on Monday amid investigation over the death of a child in the heart of Bob Keita’s rape trial.

She was taken to the police headquaters in Banjul while the child’s dead body was taken to the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital.

She is likely to face charges.

Ms Mbye returned to The Gambia late Friday evening under police escourt.

A police source told Gambiana that:” I can confirm to you that Sainabou Mbye and the dead body of Muhammad arrived at terminal 20:08 in my presence.”

According to the source, Ms Mbye was  escorted by the Gambia police officers in vehicle number GG 0431 A and AIG. C 159 WL respectively, the team was received at the terminal by another vehicle number Bjl 3036 Q.
