A man has been arrested with 82 wraps of cannabis by officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.

“Peter John, a 36-year-old Nigerian and a resident of Brusubi, was arrested in Faji Kunda with 82 wraps of suspected cannabis sativa which is concealed in white paper and placed inside a multi-color nylon bag,” DLEAG spokesman Ousman Saidybah said.

Meanwhile, he added that a 47-year-old Assan Sanneh of Sanchaba was also arrested with four parcels of suspected cannabis sativa which is concealed in white paper and placed inside his pocket.

“One big bundle and 17 parcels of suspected cannabis sativa were found at Bakoteh with is concealed in a brown and white paper and placed inside a multi-color bag,” he added.
