Kumba Sinyan’s murder trial has suffered a setback due to absence of state witness at the high court today.
It is not clear why the prosecution witness did not attend court.
The case has now been adjourned to January 26 for continuation of the trial.
Sinyan, a young entrepreneur, is accused of killing her boyfriend Lamarana Jallow last year November at the Friendship hostel in Bakau.
She is facing a murder charge over the incident. However, she has pleaded not guilty.
At least three witnesses including one who said she is a friend to the accused persons have all testified in Ms Sinyan’s ongoing murder trial at the Banjul high court.
