Police have arrested two suspected thieves in Sukuta for allegedly breaking into a mobile shop and stealing phones and accessories. 

The suspected thieves have been detained pending charges and prosecution.

Speaking exclusively to Gambiana, Police spokeswoman, Cadet ASP Binta Njie said the suspects were arrested by officers at the Sukuta Police Station and Anti Crime Unit. 

“The officers coordinated a swift operation that led to the arrest of two suspects and the recovery of a nylon bag containing several mobile phones, wristwatches, and chargers. The suspects are helping police in their investigations,” she said.
