The Gambian security forces including the police, immigration and national drug enforcement agency have launched a joint operation to combat crimes.

According to The Gambia Police Force, leading force in the operation, said the primary objective is to combat criminal activities and potential threats to public safety and security.

“The operation has so far arrested 15 people alleged of different crimes. These arrests are a testament to the effectiveness of the operation, which successfully disrupted criminal networks and prevented potential acts of illegality,” police said.
