President Adama Barrow will commission 70 newly acquired buses meant to upgrade public transport in The Gambia, the ministry of transport has said.

The ceremony will take place next Wednesday (12 April) at the  McCarthy Square in Banjul. 

“The Government of The Gambia, through GTSC and SSHFC, will continue to provide safe, reliable, and affordable public transport to address the surge,” the ministry said in a statement.
